Dyslexia Therapy
For the Classical Student
Dyslexia research has come a long way, but most dyslexia therapists and reading specialists are vehemently anti-Classical Education. We will empower your child to learn how his or her brain works and teach him or her to become a strong reader, all while validating the robust, humanities-based instruction that they receive in school or homeschool!
What’s Included
Assessment.
We begin our time with each student with an assessment in order to tailor the dyslexia therapy to each student. We will also review any psychological assessment your child may already have.
Interactive, multi-sensory sessions.
Students with dyslexia often learn using multi-sensory approaches. When we meet with your child, we will use several methods to remediate his/her learning issues in a fun, interactive way.
Optional add-on activities.
At the conclusion of each week, parents will receive detailed notes as well as instructions for books, games and activities to help their child grow to be strong readers.
